Being a part of the Ulster University Talent Hub 2023 was eye-opening for me. Before, even though I had some cool stuff going on with my business, I wasn't the type to shout it from the rooftops. I guess I just didn't want to come off as too braggy. But then, I realized that if I'm not excited about what I'm doing, no one else is going to be either—especially not a future employer who doesn't know me yet.
So, The 2023 Talent Hub thing got me thinking. It made me see that talking about what I've done isn't just about listing achievements; it's about showing genuine passion. Now, I get that sharing my successes, the hurdles I've faced, and what I've learned is not just about boosting my own confidence. It's about giving people a real peek into what makes me tick.
As I look ahead to new job opportunities, I'm taking this newfound confidence and passion with me. I've learned that being real and enthusiastic about my journey isn't just about self-promotion; it's about connecting with others. The Talent Hub pushed me to be more authentic in how I talk about my work, and I've seen how that can make a real impact, not just in my career but in how I connect with people in general. It's been a cool ride, and I'm excited to keep rolling with it.
