Building connections across borders! 🌐

On 13th October, I was nominated by several Ulster University Staff Members to participate in the "2023 Faces of UU." This exciting opportunity was an incredible experience that not only allowed me to showcase my journey and contributions within the university community but also provided a platform to connect with fellow students and faculty members on a deeper level. As I navigated through the process of being featured as one of the Faces of UU, I discovered the diverse and inspiring stories of my peers, each highlighting the unique aspects that make Ulster University a vibrant and inclusive academic community. This initiative not only celebrated individual achievements but also emphasized the collective spirit that defines our university, fostering a sense of pride and unity among all members. The "2023 Faces of UU" experience will undoubtedly remain a cherished memory, symbolizing the strength and diversity that characterize Ulster University's dynamic and supportive environment.

I was invited to attend the UK Enterprise Sustainability Conference. I was delighted to attend Google Digital Garage today in Belfast, with the help of UU Enterprise Hub’s Emma Donnelly.

🇺🇸US Special Envoy Joe Kennedy III along with Meta, Google and Microsoft representatives, announced investment in us, as people in Northern Ireland.

Along with Investors both Local & International, we learnt what Google can do, for Start-ups, Enterprises & Small Businesses.

I was thrilled to kick off the second year of my BSc Hons Business with Education journey on an incredible high note with the launch of The 2023 Talent Hub! This innovative module initiative, co-designed with our esteemed industry partner FinTrU and in collaboration with Derry Chamber of Commerce promises an incredible learning experience ahead!

I couldn't be more excited to dive into this module, guided by the expertise of one of many Ulster University Business School’s remarkable educators, Dr Aisling Reid and Dr.Mary Crossan. Their support will undoubtedly be invaluable throughout this journey.

Beyond the textbooks and lectures, I see this as an exceptional opportunity to expand my network and build meaningful connections within the business world, particularly within the North-West. This module offers a platform not only to gain knowledge but also to develop essential skills that will serve me well in my path to my career!

I was honored to represent Ulster University's GoGlobal Department at The International Student Society & BAME Network Culture Night, an event that celebrates diversity and fosters cultural exchange. As a representative, I am enthusiastic about showcasing the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our global community. Through GoGlobal, I aim to highlight the importance of embracing cultural diversity and fostering understanding among students from various backgrounds. At this event, i was delighted to showcase the incredible international opportunities available to students at Ulster, as well as welcoming students from institutions worldwide. The BAME network at Ulster provides a platform to share unique traditions, customs, and perspectives, promoting a sense of unity and inclusivity. Together, we can create a more vibrant and interconnected campus community.
